O.K….let’s call this our COUNTRYplot…
As time has gone on we felt the pressing need to practise Permaculture on a larger scale, which led to our site beyond the borders of Berlin, in the surrounding province of Brandenburg. This has enabled us to offer our city-plotters the opportunity to broaden their perspective of Permaculture in action. We offer an outing here each year, as part of our foundational year workshop series Sow it! Grow it! Eat it! as well as those going on to Next Steps - and for a selection of other workshops and day outings.
In addition, we train architects and urban planners at this unique location.
Wald&Wild started out with landscape observations in 2017 and the beginnings of a Forest Garden in early 2018. Since then, we have established a multitude of other elements in the landscape and watch year-by-year as nature flourishes. Our community is a thriving exchange of ideas, connections and celebratory moments and each year we are joined by more and more footed, winged and tailed, two, four and more legged friends - not to forget the no-legged, of course!
Wald&Wild is a natural extension of all we do at Cityplot Berlin. It is our rural escape for workshops, retreats and workdays, and breathes fresh air into all we do.
