Cityplot Berlin collaborates on various architectural projects alongside LAVA Berlin. Our vision incorporates a strong Permaculture perspective - from the project management structure, to Social Permaculture being incorporated into the overall design, through to landscape elements that regenerate the land as well as providing food for those inhabiting the site. The approach is holistic and, as such, is approached quite differently and subsumes many elements beyond those normally considered within the architectural realm.
Cityplot Berlin and LAVA Berlin share an office space in the ‘Gewerbehof in der alten Königstadt' (GIDAK) cooperative, located in central Berlin. Our surrounding world constitutes a very large part of practicing what we preach!
Early in 2019, we jointly won a competition project for lifelong learning: Life Hamburg (article below).
student TRAININGS:
2022 saw the start of our ‘retreat style’ architectural trainings. Students of the ABK-Stuttgart combined Digital Design with Permaculture and struck upon some exciting results!
Needless to say we also enjoyed learning in a relaxing setting together and ended each day with stories and laughs around the fire…
