General Info:
This workshop is for people who are curious about Permaculture. We’ll discuss what it’s all about, especially in relation to growing food. We start with the ethics and principles of permaculture, then learn a bit about perennial crops, guilds, food forests, zone mapping and designing an edible garden.
If weather permits the instructor will be outside in her garden.
Discussion is supplemented with practical examples of growing food in harmony with nature and design exercises. Sharing knowledge is encouraged and this workshop will be very interactive. Bring your curiosity and ideas!
“Permaculture is a sustainable design system stressing the harmonious interrelationship of humans, plants, animals and the Earth. The core of permaculture is design and the working relationships and connections between all things”
~ Bill Mollison
Follow up questions and feedback on designs by email or one on one sessions are available. Suitable for groups or individuals. Limited to 12 participants per session.
