cityplot berlin workshop reviews

This workshop made my life so much better, I can't even start to describe it. I became more connected and aware about what I eat and the impact my food has on the earth. Also, learning the basics about how to grow and process my own food brought me a lot of joy, it's something to look forward to.
Thank you so much for all the hard word, the knowledge you shared and your companionship. You found a way to transform people's life's and you should be proud of it.

From the very beginning, it was evident that Delia and Leonie put their hearts and souls into creating something truly exceptional with this workshop. Their dedication to sharing their knowledge and love for permaculture was inspiring. Each session, from soil quality to moon harvesting, and clean eating with topics like fermentation and sprouting, was an amazing journey into the world of sustainable living. What truly stood out was the passion and love they infused into every aspect of the workshop. Delia and Leonie's genuine commitment to permaculture and us students was palpable. They fostered a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone felt really welcomed and encouraged to learn. The knowledge they shared was not only comprehensive but also practical. They made complex permaculture concepts accessible to beginners and anyone eager to learn more. But what truly made this workshop special was the way Delia and Leonie instilled in us a profound sense of connection to the earth. They encouraged us to become better stewards of our environment and to embrace and live with the cycles of nature.

I would highly recommend this course as it was a turning point in my life. The powerful combination of nutrition and gardening gave back to me the sense of nurturing my body and feeling connected and a part of nature. I'm incredibly thankful for this course and for being a part of a small group of individuals with shared interests that I could meet and discover in Berlin.

For me, the Cityplot SGE all-year-round workshops are a time to reflect, observe and prioritize what's more important in life. This keeps me grounded and sane.

During the pandemic, I attended both the SGE (with Leonie and Delia) and Urban Gardening (with Julia) series simultaneously. As the year comes to a close, I am coming out of this year feeling fiercely equipped to tackle my ongoing gardening endeavours. Every step of both courses was deeply enriching, and I am thankful for all the knowledge conveyed and connections that were made.

SGE Workshop is a very complete workshop where you get your own raised bed and learn how to grow food from the seed, harvest it and conserve it. Additionally you will learn about nutrition.
Léonie and Délia are master Teachers with a huge knowledge on the topic of permaculture and nutrition. I personally felt overwhelmed by the amount of information, but all my questions were answered. Working with nature is a long term process and if questions arise in the future, I know that I can always contact them and get the appropriate guidance.
I signed up because I was interested in learning how to grow food in a natural way. What I discovered is that nature is very delicate and a teacher of patience, you shouldn't underestimate the responsibility of growing your own food, it's a commitment. The result was beautiful, nature is truly giving you back what you invested and beyond.
Much Love and Gratitude to these 2 Beautiful Souls.

I think to be part of SGE workshop is one of the best decisions I’ve made this year. From spring to autumn, from sowing to harvesting, from knowledge to practice, every workshop of this SGE series was a great experience. Leonie and Delia are both highly professional, passionate about what they do and always ready to give and share with a big heart. What’s also worth mentioning is the delicious food that Delia prepared and the joy of exchanging or simply being with like-minded people (other workshop participants).

I was delighted by Get Down, Get Dirty Berlin given by Leonie, not only thanks to the formidable content and extent of her knowledge, but also her motivation, enthusiasm and willingness to share everything she knows. I will put permaculture into practice whenever I can, keeping Leonie in my memory and hoping that we will meet again to share experiences, and both organic and spiritual food.

Thank you for the most inspirational workshop (Get Down, Get Dirty Berlin) I have had in my entire life. I honestly can say that it has take my life in other direction, towards self-awareness and appreciation. The world needs a lot of new baby gardeners, and together we can all make a change, little step by little step. Your workshop sparked my love for nature and gardening, and I hope we will share many more workshops and gain more knowledge together.

Most of all, I enjoyed the practical stuff during Get Down, Get Dirty Berlin. Working in our gardens. Making an insect house. Composting and seeding. Learning about plant combinations. The little tips: for example making a rooting tea from willow trees. I'm very much impressed and inspired by all of Leonie's knowledge and the way she is living, and I definitely want to take steps in that direction. I really appreciated the nice atmosphere at every workshop, with the delicious food and lots of care in the preparations.
