Our workshops in times of Covid-19.
We feel that what we are doing and learning at Cityplot is needed now more than ever!
The coronavirus crisis reminds us of how incredibly interconnected we all are. Coming together and learning the skills to grow our own food, build our health and that of our precious planet, empowers us and helps us to look after each other and those around us. It provides a sense of community, calm and a connection to our natural environments – a break from all the noise, uncertainty and mental stress associated with what is happening in our world today.
As such, we will continue to deliver the important information, practical know-how and community-building principles taught through our workshops.
As the Covid-19 situation and government restrictions are constantly changing, we will adapt our workshops accordingly. We can assure you that we will deliver all the information, teaching and community building experiences we’ve planned for our workshops. Our workshops will take place outdoors as much as possible and be supplemented with digital materials and live-online options where necessary.
In the event that we would have to cancel a workshop or part of the Sow It! Grow It! Eat It! year series, you would receive a full refund for a single workshop and a proportional refund for any part of the year series that has been cancelled. We keep participants to a set number each year – not too large so that we can provide one-on-one support. Therefore, all workshops which proceed as planned are subject to our cancellation policy. Please contact us with any questions.
In these truly unprecedented times, we plan to carry on and hope that you will join us!
Stay safe and keep well,
Leonie & Delia
